Terms & Conditions
- In the following terms & conditions "the photographer" shall mean Olu HD. "The client(s)" shall be those persons making the booking.
- It is agreed that the following terms and conditions set out between both parties have been acknowledged and signed for.
- No variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing.
Booking fee / Deposit Payments
- A non-refundable booking fee of 50% as well as full agreement of the terms and conditions as published on the photographer's website, confirms the time and services of the booking. In the event of a cancellation, it is non-refundable or transferable. The booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of the client's chosen package. Payment in full of the remaining balance will be due before the day of the proposed booking date.
- Lateness of more than 30 minutes with no prior warning off lateness will be considered as no show and will result to your booking being automatically cancelled.
- In the event of the total payment not being made before booking date with no prior warning, the photographer has to (The) right to cancel the booking.
- If invoice has been issued, balance must be made in full within 14 working days. We reserve the right to charge penalty fee for late payments under the LATE PAYMENT OF COMMERCIAL DEBTS (INTEREST) ACT 1998.
- In the event where a Client is a company and whether or not that company has gone into liquidation the individual directors will be responsible for all outstanding fees and costs in relation to the contract.
Retouching
- ALL unedited images will be sent within 1-2 days post shoot.
- Depending on the quantity of images being retouched, the turnover time-frame ranges between 1-4 weeks. Large scale retouching will be discussed with client(s).
- All images will be adjusted for exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc The Photographer's judgement regarding these corrections and the number of images put forward to the Client for preview shall be deemed as correct.
- All electronic files will be sent via email. The client is expected to download and save ALL files as they will automatically be deleted after 7 days. We do not store any photographic files, so clients are advised to save all images on a storage device (USB/Memory Card).
Copyright
- The Creato retains the entire copyright in the Photographs and Works at all times, throughout the World.
- Where reproduction of Works has taken place and settlement has not been made, the Photographer will make such charges to the publisher of those images as falls within the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
Exclusivity
- Unless agreed upon in writing on the License to Use and the Invoice no exclusivity is given or implied to The Agency and/or The Client.
- The Photographer retains the right in all cases to use or sell the Photographs.
- Exclusivity will not be unreasonably withheld but only on written agreement with the Photographer before work commences.
Display / License
- The Photographer shall be granted all licence in regards to the poses photographed and the locations used. The Photographers judgement regarding the locations/poses and number of images taken shall be deemed correct. Due to weather changes and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested. The photographer will not be held responsible for this.
- The client(s) hereby permits the photographer to display any photographs covered in this contract and to generally promote the business in any advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, social media, sample albums etc.
Rights to Credit
- The Licence to Use requires that the Photographer’s name ‘Olu HD’ will be printed on or in reasonable proximity to all published reproductions of the Photograph(s). The Photographer also asserts his/her statutory and moral right to be identified in the circumstances set out in Sections 77-79 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or any amendment or re-enactment thereof.
Agreement
- By booking means you agree to all terms and conditions.
- This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Terms & Condition
- In the following terms & conditions "the photographer" shall mean Olu HD photographer(s) ( 1/2 Photographers and a possible assistant). "The client(s)" shall be the bride and groom in the wedding booking.
- It is agreed that the following terms and conditions set out between both parties have been acknowledged and signed for.

Booking fee / Deposit Payments
- A non-refundable booking fee of 50% as well as full acceptance of the terms and conditions as published on the photographer's website secures the time and services of the Photographer booking. Which will be non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation.
- The booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of the client's chosen package. Payment in full of the remaining balance will be due one calendar month before the wedding day.
- In the event that the Wedding is postponed to a later date the fee will stay the same as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time.
Wedding Arrangements
- The details of the arrangements must be agreed upon before hand in writing (email is also acceptable). The client must also notify the photographer of any changes to these details in writing.
- The photographer will not be held responsible for any delays or disruptions in the delivery of the service until any changes has been received and acknowledged in writing.
Overtime
- If our services are needed over the time agreed upon by both parties, then the client is liable to pay an overtime fee of £80 per hour.
Attendance
- In the unlikely event that the assigned Photographer is not able to attend your wedding, due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend on our behalf to cover the wedding to the best of his/her abilities.
Travel & Accommodation
- If the wedding is held outside London/Hertfordshire or 2 hours drive from our location, that travel and/or accommodation must be covered for.
Retouching
- All images will be adjusted for exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. The photographer's judgment regarding these corrections and the quantity of images produced and sent forward to the client for them to preview will be deemed as correct.
Print / Reorder
- All prints and reorders will be considered as an extension of the contract, and will therefore incur an extra cost. The photographer will not be held responsible for any errors unless the orders were given in writing prior to the wedding.
Display / License
- The Photographer shall be granted all license in relation to the poses photographed and in the location used. The Photographers judgements regarding the location and poses shall be deemed correct. Due to weather changes and the willingness of the subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested. The photographers will not be held responsible for this.
- The client(s) hereby permits the photographers to display any photographs covered in this contract and to generally promote the business in any advertising, brochures, magazine articles, website, social media, sample albums etc.
Copyright
- The Copyright Designs and Patents Acts assign the copyright of the images to the photographer. Any images or any copy of the images whether stored digitally or otherwise computer programs including any source or object code, computer files or printed documentation relating to such images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the act to copy or allowed to be copied photographically/electronically or by any other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of the Photographer(s) in writing.
Agreement

- This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
